In this seminar we will use a broad range of media (articles, literary and nonfiction texts, videos, artworks, games, and conversations) to expand and train your English skills. We will cover a wide spectrum of interesting topics, so you'll always learn something new as you practice English.

You'll build and broaden your knowledge of the English language through practical, fun exercises in a relaxed environment, with a native English speaker and Cultural Historian leading the course.

You will improve your fluency, work on perfecting your pronunciation and grammar, and expand your vocabulary, while learning and engaging idiomatic turns of phrase that make your speech and writing more natural, witty and effective.

All course materials will be provided during the sessions.


Who is the course instructor?

I’m a native English speaker with over 25 years of teaching experience. I was trained at the renowned Knight Institute at Cornell University (New York), where I went on to earn a PhD in Art and Cultural History. My teaching philosophy is simple: language learning is most effective when the material is genuinely engaging—something you'd want to read even in your native language.
That’s why I design my courses around a wide range of thought-provoking topics, from art and politics to science and technology. Classes are held online in a relaxed, supportive environment. We focus on building vocabulary, improving speaking skills, and strengthening grammar—all while exploring relevant and interesting content.
I look forward to helping you boost your English skills and discover new perspectives along the way!

Sie benötigen
einen Computer/Laptop mit Internetzugang

eine aktuelle Version der Internetbrowser Chrome oder Firefox
eine Möglichkeit der Tonausgabe über Lautsprecher oder Headset. Wir empfehlen ein Headset.
Die Nutzung einer Webcam wird ebenfalls empfohlen.
